Now, you will all know that The Clean Team are a eco friendly company. The fact is, not only do we care for the environment, but we also use cleaning methods that ensure our clients get the best results.
We know that not all our clients can have reverse osmosis water filtration systems fitted in their homes or places of work, so we thought we would provide a little tip on how to create a special little something to wash your glass with. It’s amazing what a little dab of this and that from your kitchen cupboard can provide you with.
Newspapers and magazines across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the UAE often offer recipes for non-toxic window cleaning with the basics we all have in our kitchen cupboards. I was recently reading a magazine article on Sharjah Window Cleaning where a lady offered her own window washing formula. The recipe was just plain vinegar and water with the option of drying the windows with old newspapers.
If the formulas are not to the correct proportions, cleaning with homemade recipes can be a disaster as the formulas will leave streaks on the glass. When speaking to our customers across the UAE, we found that commercial products they regularly used to clean glass left a wax buildup and vinegar alone wouldn’t do the job of removing the residue.
The good news is however: Adding a dab of dish soap to the vinegar and water will remove the buildup. So there you have it, a home made way of getting your windows smashing clean.
THE BEST VILLA WINDOW CLEANER : You can make a great all-purpose window cleaner by combining 1/4 cup vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon liquid soap or detergent, and 2 cups of water in a spray bottle. Shake to blend and spray on your glass windows. Step back and enjoy.
